Individuals, Charitable Organisations and Trusts

The vast majority of our financial support comes from individuals, small charitable organisations and Trusts which prefer to remain anonymous.  Some of the Trusts have supported us since Mary Grice and her colleagues started their work back in 1972 - Mary's husband was a lawyer and she worked his network!  This continued support in terms of annual, monthly and ad hoc donations keeps our Fund going and is the bedrock of our budget.  We salute you all!

Thanks to our Corporate and Charity Sponsors who benefit from BBBEE points relating to Corporate Social Responsibility and Skills Develeopment.  Financial donation events are also of huge benefit to our Tertiary Fund students giving them opportunities to experience the working environment, ask pertinent questions within the various Corporate industries and develop their confidence and communication skills.

 

 

Partners

Our Partners enable us to keep our operating costs down as low as possible.  Holy Trinity Anglican Church and the African Gospel Church both allow us to use their premises with no charge.  Diapalante enables low cost online donations to be made via credit or debit card, benefitting from the UK Gift Aid for their own work with disadvantedged communities in West Africa.  The Valley Trust allows our Tertiary Fund students access to internet and electricity during the regular loadshedding electrical outages for their studies and job applications.
